SEASONAL LABOR-PARKS SEASONAL LABOR-PARKS POSITION: Seasonal Labor DEPARTMENT: Parks and Public Lands, Underground Utilities, Refuse, or other varying departments REPORTS TO: Assigned Supervisor PAY GRADE: 07-08 Hourly PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION Under general supervision performs work to maintain grounds around various City parks, golf course, cemetery, horticulture, or Utility facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Mowing, trimming, spraying, and weed-eating Moving trash cans and emptying trash General Maintenance of Facilities as needed Cleaning Restrooms SUPERVISION-RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS: None EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be minimum 16 years of age, high school graduation or GED, current drivers license, and experience in operation of tractors, riding mowers, and weed eaters.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform physical work including lifting and carrying 25-50 pounds regularly, and up to 75-100 pounds occasionally Ability to make minor repairs to tractors, mowers, weed eaters, and spraying equipment.
