Police Detective (Special Investigations)
Job description
Performs specialized law enforcement work investigating criminal activity in the Town, solving crimes, and apprehending and prosecuting persons suspected of committing crimes. Work is performed in accordance with department policy and state and federal law, supplemented with specific directions from the superior officers.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Special Investigations Unit Sergeant.
