Truck Driver Class A

Duties Operate trucks with automatic transmission and ensure safe delivery of goods to designated locations. Drop and hook, live Load, or unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Navigate routes using GPS or maps while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Handle various types of freight including flatbed loads, tanker shipments, and refrigerated items.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong operation (automatic transmission). Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures as well as safe handling of different types of cargo. Experience driving tractor-trailer combinations is a must. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Willingness to comply with all company policies and regulations regarding safety and transportation.
