Social Services Home Visitor

The Home Visitor is responsible for providing a wide range of assessments and intervention strategies to parents/families, who have limited parenting skills, home management skills and restricted social support networks. The Home Visitor will target a reduction in risk issues as well as providing the family instruction and opportunity to develop skills that will allow them to thrive in their community.

Services will be delivered individually, and the Home Visitor will use a variety of intervention supports to build family strengths. As deemed appropriate the Home Visitor may provide crisis-based services to youth/families.
