Dietary Aide

• Watford City, ND, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: Not Specified, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Dietary Aide Position Overview: The Dietary Aide provides assistance in all food related functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Key Responsibilities: Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc. Discard leftovers and take out garbage Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware Stock ingredients and monitor inventory Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods walking or standing. Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed. Subject to call-back during emergency conditions. Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently. Must frequently immerse hands in water.

Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.

Required Skills

Ability to understand and follow directions. Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence. Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced. Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff. Detail-oriented and thorough. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Education and Experience

High School Graduate or equivalent Previous food handling experience preferred Licenses and Certifications: Servsafe Certification preferred Mc.
