Sales Director - BESS

Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Envision’s BESS solutions in Australia’s utility, renewable, and industrial sectors. * Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including standalone storage and hybrid renewable projects. * Lead end-to-end sales process, from lead generation, proposal preparation, and bid management to contract negotiation and closure.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and government agencies. * Collaborate closely with internal teams (Tech Solutions, eBOP, Grid, BESS Product Line, Commercial, Legal, Finance, Project Delivery, etc.) to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Represent Envision Energy at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. * Monitor market trends, policy developments, and competitor activities to inform business strategies. * Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence to senior management. * Provide people leadership, inspiration, and coordination among Sales and Tech Solution Sales teams for accelerated and lasting success in the market and the Envison Organisation.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus. * Proven track record (8-15+ years) in sales, business development, or commercial roles in the renewable energy or energy storage sector. * Strong understanding of Australia’s energy market, regulatory frameworks, and power sector dynamics.

Demonstrated experience in closing multi-million-dollar deals, ideally in BESS, renewable generation, or related technologies. * Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team. * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Demontrated people leadership skills essential.
