Global Retail Sales Director

• Edison, NJ, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $160000.00 - $190000.00Salary/year, Global Retail Sales Director About the role C+A Global designs and sells consumer products under licensed brands including HP and Kodak, sold through retailers around the world. We're seeking an experienced, strategic, and results driven Global Retail Sales Director to lead and expand brick and mortar distribution of these products across the US, Europe/UK, South America, and Asia. You'll manage our regional sales team and develop new business with retail chains. The role focuses exclusively on physical retail stores and the wholesale distribution that supports store sales. A separate team manages e-commerce, online marketplaces such as Amazon, and retailer websites such as Best. Buy.com.

What you'll do

Set the global retail growth strategy and regional targets, based on market, competitor, and category research. Lead 3 direct reports, including the regional sales managers, and hold them accountable for forecasts, pipeline, and account performance, with regular reviews. Win new chains, and grow store count and assortment at existing accounts, through relationships with buyers, category managers, and wholesale distributors.

Negotiate placement, pricing, promotions, and assortment, and lead line reviews and buyer meetings. Work with the licensing, marketing, product development, operations, and inventory planning teams so stock meets our retail commitments. Represent C+A at trade shows, and report results and pipeline to leadership. How success is measured Global in store sales growth against target New retail accounts opened and stores added Assortment and sales growth at existing accounts Regional team results against targets Qualifications: What you bring 7+ years selling consumer products to brick and mortar retailers, including managing regional sales teams Established relationships with major US retail buyers and a track record of winning new in store placements Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Preferred: experience in consumer electronics, imaging, or licensed products; expanding retail in Europe/UK, South America, or Asia; working with international distributors.
