Your Role

with Us Lead a high-performing Cloud & Infrastructure team that sits at the heart of AIA’s technology environment. As Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure, you will shape the reliability, security, and future readiness of critical technology services that support business success across New Zealand and broader regional teams.

Working closely with senior leaders, vendors, and technology partners, you will balance strategic planning with operational leadership, helping modernise infrastructure through cloud and managed services. Your Impact Lead the delivery and support of cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring high levels of availability, performance, and reliability Drive operational excellence through automation, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality and efficiency Build and develop a capable, engaged team through coaching, mentoring, and clear performance leadership Strengthen technology resilience by leading disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity outcomes Partner with stakeholders across New Zealand, Australia, and Group Technology teams to align priorities and deliver business value Manage vendor and service provider relationships to achieve high-quality outcomes, strong service performance, and cost-effective delivery Your Capabilities You bring extensive experience leading infrastructure, cloud, or technology services teams within complex enterprise environments You have a track record of delivering reliable technology services while balancing operational priorities, risk, and continuous improvement You have strong relationship-building and influencing skills, enabling collaboration across technical, business, and vendor stakeholders You bring a strategic mindset and can translate technology roadmaps and future-state thinking into practical outcomes You have experience working with cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, managed service providers, and service management practices You may also have relevant tertiary qualifications, ITIL certification, or experience working within formal governance, risk, and audit frameworks Your Life at AIA At AIA, your skills in technology, data, and analytics are more than technical expertise, they’re the foundation for creating Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
