Student Worker - (Library References)

This role will be filled by either two 10 hour positions or one 20 hour position. Looking for part-time Master's or Doctorate level research or instruction assistant for the University Library by summer or fall 2026.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional informational and research assistance in multiple formats: in-person, telephone, email, live chat, etc. Add reference transactions to the analytics database Assist with the preparation of reports as needed other duties as assigned Requirements: Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate in a clear, effective manner Strong research and analytical skills Ability to follow instructions and work with a team, demonstrating awareness of each of the library's departmental responsibilities Self-motivated to complete a work schedule and tasks with limited supervision Must be able to work effectively and responsibly with library patrons in a public service environment and to serve a variety of people Commitment to Regent’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity Salary: $12.
