Highway Landscape Laborer

HIGHWAY LANDSCAPE LABORER RCI is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Highway Landscape Laborers . AS A HIGHWAY LANDSCAPE LABORER You will work both individually and as part of a team to maintain landscaped and green areas along highways and roadways. This position involves working outdoors and performing a variety of landscape maintenance, litter removal, and general property maintenance duties in a roadside environment.

HIGHWAY LANDSCAPE LABORER DUTIES INCLUDE Walking alongside roadways while maintaining adjacent landscaped and green spaces. Operating hand and powered equipment, including mowers, weed eaters, blowers, grabbers, and other landscape maintenance equipment. Mowing, trimming, edging, and maintaining vegetation along designated areas.

Gathering and removing litter, trash, and debris from the sides of roadways. Collecting, bagging, and transporting litter and debris to designated disposal areas. Performing general landscape maintenance and cleanup activities. Maintaining equipment and work areas in a safe and orderly condition. Following all applicable safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment.

Working cooperatively with supervisors and other team members to complete assigned projects. Performing other duties and project-related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

WE LOOK FOR Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods. Ability to safely operate hand tools and powered landscape equipment. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred. Previous landscape or outdoor maintenance experience preferred. Spanish speaking candidates a plus!
