Nurse Practitioner | Behavioral Health | Full-Time

The nurse practitioner will assess, plan and treat the mental health and care needs of individuals with mental illness. Responsible for completion of psychiatric assessments and updates, medication management, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests and psychiatric crisis intervention. The nurse practitioner utilizes the nursing process as a framework for managing patient care. Utilizing advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, the nurse practitioner works independently and in collaboration and consultation with physicians and other health care providers
