Crypto venture capitalist

■Introduction ● XXX Group is a private digital asset manager based in Tokyo and Seoul, dedicated to institutional investors and high net-worth individuals. ● We are seeking a Venture Capitalist to join us in Tokyo. ■Issues ● Crypto market has been hectic during 2022, but we have managed to survive. Luckly, the Japanese Investors, and Institutions were not much involved in the incident due to regulation and tax issues.

From 2023, Japanese Investors and Institutions are looking a way to entering the market. have focused on establishing our business in Korea through our Korean subsidiary and currently hold the number one market share position in the Korean B2B market. Based on this successful experience, we are now looking to expand and diversify our business in Japan as a Crypto VC.

■ Role : Investment Professional (Venture Capitalist) ● You will have the opportunity to work closely with startups mainly focused web3. ● You will interface with a wide range of stakeholders such as Startup Entrepreneurs, Portfolio Companies, Investors, Engineers and uncover promising startups and help grow their businesses in Japan, Korea, and beyond.

● Primary responsibilities will include: ○ Support approaching Investors and LPs by: ■ Research: keeping an eye on industry and market trends, performing market research, and sharing it with the team and stakeholders. ■ Investor MTG: setting up and managing meetings with Investors and LPs. ■ Documentation: Preparing the documents for Investors and LPs.

○ Identify investment trends and opportunities by: ■ Deal sourcing: setting up meetings with prospective opportunities through networking, joining startup events and proactive outreach. ■ Deal screening: Online or face to face MTG prospects and evaluate opportunities. ■ Expert interviews: Gathering information from industry experts, technical consultants, stakeholders who know the target startup, potential competitors, and potential acquirer.

■ Documentation: Preparing the documents to the board members to determine investments. ○ Support existing portfolio companies by: ■ Monitoring: Develop, track, and evaluate startup performance and KPIs. ■ Support portfolio companies’recruiting and fundraising activities as required. ■Relevant Experience and Mindset ● Proficient in English (both written and spoken) ● Minimum 3 years of venture investing experience.

● Passion and pulse for crypto startups, entrepreneurship, and the crypto ecosystem. ● Passion and interest in working in the crypto industry and create new rules and regulation. ● A high comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity in small organization. ● Solution driven mind and problem solving leading into lucrative business.
