Job Objective The Building Maintenance Technician performs scheduled maintenance, various repairs, and preservation on Metro Aviation headquarters’ building.

Essential Functions

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and cleaning HVAC systems Identify and repair issues with building systems and equipment Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work Ensure the safety and comfort of building occupants by maintaining a clean and well-functioning building Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the building Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSA) Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Technician or similar role Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times Must be able to access and inspect areas of buildings and grounds Work Environment Indoor/outdoor shop environment with potential extreme hot and cold temperatures Exposure to hazardous chemicals is possible Moderate to loud noise level Work Status, Schedule, & Travel Full-time Monday
