Finishing Carpenter

Job Title: Finishing Carpenter Industry: Construction Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality finishing carpentry work for residential, commercial, and construction projects. Install wooden doors, door frames, wardrobes, cabinets, panels, skirting, and other wooden fixtures. Perform cutting, fitting, assembling, and finishing of wooden materials.

Take accurate measurements and ensure proper alignment and fitting. Carry out polishing, trimming, sanding, and other finishing activities as required. Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions. Repair, modify, and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings. Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to complete work within project schedules. Maintain required quality standards and follow site safety procedures.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Finishing Carpenter. Experience in construction, interior, or fit-out projects preferred. Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and finishing techniques. Ability to take accurate measurements and understand basic drawings. Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.

Physically fit and willing to work at construction/project sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good knowledge of wooden doors, frames, wardrobes, cabinets, panels, skirting, and related fixtures.
