About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, this is a key leadership role responsible for managing a team of five and delivering high-quality financial reporting, compliance, and commercial support across the business. You will support decision-making, improve systems and processes, and ensure strong financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly management reporting, including analysis and insights
- Partner with department leaders to support commercial decision-making
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Prepare annual financial statements and manage audit
- Oversee tax compliance (GST, FBT, income tax)
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
- Drive systems improvements and process efficiencies
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team About You
- CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years’ experience
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Commercially minded with ability to influence decision-making
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Wine, agribusiness, or FMCG experience (advantageous)
