Grinder Second Shift

Columbia Vehicle Group (CVG) designs and manufactures industry-leading electric vehicles for commercial, industrial, and retail markets. We're growing our second shift Fabrication team and looking for dependable people who take pride in quality work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Grind, blend, and finish weld seams on vehicle frames and fabricated parts
• Remove spatter, slag, burrs, and sharp edges, and prep parts for paint and powder coat
• Use angle grinders, die grinders, belt sanders, and other finishing tools
• Inspect parts for defects and work closely with our welders to keep production moving
• Keep a clean, safe work area and follow all CVG safety rules WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• High school diploma or GED
• Grinding or metal finishing experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and a willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to stand for the full shift, lift up to 50 lbs., and handle vibrating power tools SCHEDULE AND PAY
• Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
