Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“ICBC (Asia)”) is the flagship of overseas business of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (“ICBC”) – currently the largest commercial bank in China, and it is one of the domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs) in Hong Kong. Currently, ICBC (Asia) has 52 retail outlets (including 27 “Elite Club” Wealth Management Centres) in Hong Kong.

It is engaged in commercial banking, investment banking and other financial services, including those of securities, insurance and funds, with a focus on commercial and retail banking as well as global market business. Chinese Mercantile Bank and ICBC Asset Management (Global) Company Limited, two wholly-owned subsidiaries of ICBC (Asia), specialize in Renminbi services in mainland China and ICBC’s global asset management business respectively.

Job Responsibilities

Engage with various banking business units to map end-to-end processes, identify pain points and digital automation opportunities, and drive digital transformation initiatives. Analyze and standardize business requirements based on bank’s technical architecture, assessing feasibility and implementation costs. Serve as the key liaison between business and R&D teams, aligning technical implementation standards, resolving project obstacles, and ensuring successful delivery.

Participate in the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), overseeing development, testing, launch, and acceptance, while continuously optimizing digital solutions. Stay updated on fintech trends, proactively identify digital/automation enhancement opportunities, and deliver forward-looking optimization strategies.

Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related STEM fields. 2-4 years of experience as an application product manager or in solution design, preferably with exposure to retail/corporate banking systems. Strong logical thinking, with excellent skills in business analysis, requirement decomposition, solution design, and documentation.

Prior experience in financial industry system implementation or digital project execution is a plus. Outstanding communication and coordination skills to drive cross-departmental collaboration.
