Job description
CBSE PGT Physics Teacher A CBSE Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for Physics is responsible for delivering high-quality education, fostering critical thinking, and promoting a deeper understanding of Physics among senior secondary students. The teacher is expected to create an engaging learning environment, guide students in academic and co-curricular activities, and prepare them for board exams and competitive exams.
Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery : Teach Physics to students of classes 11 and 12, following the CBSE curriculum. Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that are clear, engaging, and aligned with CBSE guidelines. Student Assessment and Progress Tracking : Design, administer, and grade tests, quizzes, and assignments.
Evaluate and document students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback. Practical Knowledge : Conduct Physics experiments and ensure proper utilization of lab resources. Encourage students to develop hands-on skills and understand experimental techniques. Guidance and Mentorship : Mentor students for board exams, competitive exams like JEE, NEET, and other entrance tests.
Provide academic counseling and help students set and achieve goals. Classroom Management : Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Ensure safety and manage resources effectively. Professional Development : Stay updated with advancements in Physics and pedagogical techniques. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
Collaboration : Coordinate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to discuss student progress. Contribute to the development of curriculum and educational policies. Required Qualifications Educational Qualifications : Master’s degree in Physics from a recognized university (M.Sc. or equivalent). Bachelor of Education (B.
Ed.) or equivalent teaching certification. Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE-affiliated school (preferred). Certifications : TET/CTET qualification (as applicable).
Required Skills
In-depth knowledge of Physics and the ability to simplify complex concepts. Familiarity with the latest CBSE syllabus, exam pattern, and question trends. Teaching Skills : Strong instructional skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons. Expertise in using digital tools and technology for teaching. Communication Skills : Proficiency in English for effective classroom communication.
Ability to motivate and inspire students. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze students' performance and provide targeted support. Solve doubts and encourage analytical thinking among students. Organizational and Time Management Skills : Efficiently manage class schedules, lesson planning, and extracurricular activities.
