• Princeton, MN, Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00Hourly, We are seeking a Welder I to join our team at Glenn Metalcraft. Under immediate supervision, this position joins and fabricates metal material by applying appropriate welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Moderate understanding of welding necessary to produce metal components for Mig welding Must follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/Tag out Understand and accurately report daily production quantities to meet set number of parts per hour Consistent and accurate counts of materials and products Performs necessary quality checks on product and completes daily communication Ability to setup workstation according to safety standards to perform maximum efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to established procedures.

Maintain a positive attitude with customers, clients, co-workers, and management Ability to change out weld wire, feed rolls and gun as well as gas cylinders Ability to complete the first part approval process for basic jobs Assists with performing preventative maintenance as needed May tack weldments or components for robotic welding Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred 0-12 mos.

welding experience required Skills and Competencies Ability to safely perform work in varying work conditions Working knowledge of welding with previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred Ability to understand and follow instructions Effective problem-solving skills/detailed oriented/sense of urgency Ability to read blueprints and use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and fillet gauges Ability to be forklift certified Ability to follow hoist safety protocols Self-motivated, takes initiative Physical Requirements Ability to lift 40 lbs.
