Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $22 - $25 / hour*What you'll be doing as a Vessel Sampling Support Technician: Assist inspectors with vessel sampling operations at port facilities.

Collect, handle, and transport samples in accordance with established procedures. Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment. Move equipment and supplies throughout the worksite as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all port, maritime, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Perform general labor and site support duties as assigned. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in an outdoor environment. Available shifts: Shift Timings: All Available. Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People. Ready. Valid and current TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card required.

Ability to work in an outdoor port and maritime environment under varying weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, equipment, and supplies safely. Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow established procedures and instructions. Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Flexibility to work varying schedules based on vessel arrivals and sampling requirements. Ability to perform physically demanding labor for the duration of the shift. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, dockside, port, or maritime operations preferred but not required.
