• West Bloomfield, MI, Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00Hourly, The Banquet Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food for large-scale events, including weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and private functions. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and event specifications.
• Assist in food preparation for banquets, buffets, plated dinners, and special events.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to quality and portion standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before events.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Assist with inventory control and proper storage of food items.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and banquet team to ensure smooth event execution.
• Support breakdown and cleanup after events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or banquet cook preferred.
• Knowledge of large-batch cooking and food production techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Qualifications:
