Housekeeper

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a polished, detail-oriented Junior Housekeeper to join the private service team supporting the family and their residence. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining impeccable standards and is eager to develop their skills within a highly professional private household environment.

The Junior Housekeeper will report to the Senior Housekeeper to ensure the residence is consistently maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, organization, and care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is discreet, reliable, service-oriented, and highly attentive to detail, with a willingness to learn and take direction Previous experience working in private residence or similar luxury environment with verifiable references. Capable of maintaining the home’s smooth and orderly operation and meticulous appearance Enjoys cleaning and knows, or can capably learn, effective cleaning techniques for marble, antiques, paintings, fine linens, windows, etc Willing to accept instruction and conform to the employer’s preferences; willing to work under senior staff members Mature, poised, quiet, courteous, positive attitude and pleasant personality.

Honest, reliable, punctual, and proactive High sense of personal responsibility and integrity Flexible and able to accommodate changes in household routine or plans with ease Long term intent Able to work legally in the United States Possess a valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record; can be insured at no material increment in cost If this position meets the local, state, or federal criteria for a pre-employment candidate credit check, one may be ordered after a signed FCRA acknowledgement is retained Schedule Part-time, 3 days per week Compensation & Benefits The family is prepared to offer $45-$55 an hour plus full benefits and bonus opportunities Our Story: Mahler Private Staffing works with America’s leading families to find experienced private domestic staffing professionals for their homes and family offices.
