5th Grade Boys Basketball Coach

Position Title: 5th Grade Boys Basketball Coach School: Princeton Community Intermediate School Location: Princeton, Indiana Position Type: Coaching Application Deadline: until filled Job Overview: Princeton Community Intermediate School is seeking a dynamic and experienced 5th Grade Boys Basketball Coach. This position requires a passionate individual with a strong commitment to the development of student-athletes both on and off the court.

The successful candidate will foster an inclusive team culture, develop players' skills, and implement a competitive strategy that supports the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, organize, and oversee the 5th grade boys basketball team, including practices and games. Create a positive team culture that promotes academic success, personal growth, and athletic excellence. Design and implement strategies, plays, and techniques to build a competitive program. Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with assistant coaches to ensure the program’s success.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with players, parents and school staff. Manage equipment and uniforms in conjunction with the Assistant Athletic Director.

Qualifications

Previous basketball/coaching experience is preferred. Superior communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Understanding of coaching principles, techniques, and basketball strategy. Commitment to student-athlete well-being, including fostering academic and personal growth. Salary and Benefits: Compensation: Extra Curricular Stipend of $1,436.55
