Submittal Coordinator

Provides administrative support to all the estimators on all matters requested. Position Responsibilities:

• Gather and initiate shop drawing submittals for approval on various projects
• Create and keep current submittal charts
• Coordinate with Estimators on correct submittals
• Verify specification sections requiring submittal
• Organize submittals across various submittal software platforms
• Perform other duties as requested and assigned in a timely fashion Essential skills and experience :
• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word software.
• Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
• Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone and oral communication skills. Education/Experience: Associate's degree (A. A) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
