Continuing Education Instructor, Part-Time Location District Facilities / Assigned Program Locations Position Summary The Continuing Education Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering instruction for adult and community education courses. This position provides instruction in a safe, organized, and engaging manner consistent with course descriptions and program expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver instruction for assigned continuing education courses Prepare and present instructional materials appropriate to the course content Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment Follow district policies, procedures, and facility use guidelines Maintain attendance records and communicate with program staff as required Begin and end classes on time Report instructional concerns, safety issues, or cancellations to program staff Qualifications Knowledge, training, or experience relevant to the course subject area Experience teaching adults or leading group instruction preferred Ability to communicate effectively with adult learners Dependable and able to work independently Physical Requirements Ability to perform duties consistent with the instructional needs of the course Ability to stand, move, and demonstrate activities as required Rate of Pay To Be Determined Work Schedule Varies based on course schedule and enrollment Employment Terms Part-time, temporary position Non-benefited Employment contingent upon program enrollment and staffing needs Application Process All interested applicants must apply online through Frontline/Applitrack and pass all required safety/security checks.
