Description Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives is seeking an IT

• Information Technology Student Intern for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

& Duties: This position will assist Buckeye Power IT staff with a variety of projects for Buckeye Power and Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives, including assisting in the performance of the following tasks: Computer hardware and software deployment End user support Asset inventory management Workstation imaging Client patching and vulnerability mitigation Review of system alerts and incident response Create and update documentation Application development and report creation Other projects as assigned Position Requirements: Education : Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree program.

Experience : No prior work experience required. Knowledge : A general knowledge of computers and data processing techniques. Abilities & Skills : Strong oral and verbal communications skills. Must be self-motivated; ability to organize work, fulfill defined projects; must be comfortable asking questions when uncertain or unclear about work projects.

Must be dependable and able to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and urgency. Working Conditions : All work will be conducted at the Buckeye Power corporate office location. The Intern will be exposed to typical business office conditions and noise levels.
