• Retail supports pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and management of dispensing outpatient prescriptions. This role en sures patients receive safe, timely and accurate prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. The technician assists with prescription entry, insurance processing, inventory management, patient interactions and maintains smooth daily operations in a retail pharmacy environment. In addition, the technician will play a vital role in verifying patient information, resolving insurance and billing issues, maintaining appropriate stock of medications and responsible in ordering stock required for the pharmacy.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in pharmacy, preferably in retail pharmacy. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current Registered Pharmacy Technician License issued by California State Board of Pharmacy Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) ‎ Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
