Senior Electrical Engineer

Barge is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead engineering project design teams within our Facilities Engineering Solution Center. Location could be in any of the Barge Design Solutions office locations.

Responsibilities

Electrical Lead for design projects in a multi-discipline environment.Manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects. Provides technical design expertise to projects including development of solutions to engineering and technical challenges Designs facility electrical systems for facilities projects including water treatment, data centers, commercial, institutional, federal, DOD, utility, and industrial facilities Designs grounding, power, lighting, and systems plans and specifications Prepares calculations and analyses of electrical systems such as lighting and power systems Reviews work developed by others for quality purposes Leads complex technical portions of meetings with clients Interacts with other project design team members and clients Mentors other early career staff Perform construction administration including submittal reviews, response to contractor questions, and site visits as required Develop strong relationships with project managers, clients, contractors, and others Additional responsibilities as needed
