Sales Manager

Working as a Sales Manager at Siemens in the Electrification & Automation unit means contributing to projects that have a significant impact on society and the world at large and thus support Siemens’ ongoing growth. The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that Siemens remains competitive in the market for electrification and automation by maximizing sales opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.

You will be part of an experienced and ambitious sales team, consisting of highly competent colleagues working to help our customers meet the growing technical demands of today's and tomorrow's energy infrastructure. Your daily tasks will include managing a small and focused portfolio of critical infrastructure customers managing all customer-facing activities, delivering solution presentations, advising on choosing the right medium-voltage switchgear and automation solutions.

You will also have full ownership of the bid management process where you will coordinate proposals with technical and commercial colleagues.

Requirements

Be the Siemens ambassador to its customers, building and developing trustful relationships. ● Manage a small portfolio of key customers within critical infrastructure ● Contribute proactively at developing the business with new customers and/or projects. ● Acquire relevant know-how about Siemens’ medium-voltage switchgear and automation portfolio.

● Plan and execute customer-facing activities, including regular visits, technical discussions, and networking events. ● Be an active user of our CRM system (SalesForce), providing regular status updates. ● Take part in Siemens’ proactive commercial transformation, working in a structured way to identify new opportunities and create additional value for customers.

● Be the owner and manager of both large and small project proposals, in close collaboration with project managers and engineers, in compliance with processes.
