Fullstack Software Engineer Graduate (Social) - 2027 Start

We are the messaging team on TikTok. Our team's mission is to facilitate meaningful user connections through TikTok's messaging experience, which is still in its infancy. We achieve our mission by building and shipping tools that help our users more easily connect and share the things they care about.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-facing features for our mobile application.
• Contribute to backend development when necessary to deliver TikTok product features end to end.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create a world-class mobile experience.
• Analyze and optimize mobile application performance and stability.
• Write robust, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, with proficiency in at least one programming language used in mobile development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on mobile development experience through internships or projects, ideally involving the complete development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile development. Strong ownership and passion for building high-quality consumer products.
