DSP - Community Direct Support

ABOUT THE POSITION Santa Lucia is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and community involvement. This role offers the opportunity to engage in community-based activities, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a fulfilling lifestyle for those we serve.

What’s it like to be a caregiver at Santa Lucia? On a typical day, you would: Provide transportation and supervision. Model appropriate behaviors. Plan and participate in community activities (i.e. movies, bowling, parks, zoo visits, car rides, sporting events, etc.) Support individuals in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and assist with daily living skills.

Qualifications

Age: Must be at least 18 years old.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required with satisfactory driving record. Experience: No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug test, and I9.

Compensation

$19.19 per hour Available Schedules: Tuesdays and Fridays 10:30am-4:30pm Tuesdays 9:30am-2pm Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am-1pm Thursdays 10am-4pm Why Choose Santa Lucia?
