Middle School Assistant Football Coach

Job Description Middle school (MS) assistant football coach assists the head coach in teaching fundamental football skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring player safety during practices and games. Candidates typically need a high school diploma, background clearance, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Job Responsibilities

Teach basic football rules, techniques, and sportsmanship. Help run safe, organized, and active practice sessions. Supervise student-athletes during games, practices, and locker room times. Model positive behavior and emphasize academic and personal responsibility. Maintain equipment and follow league and state athletic association guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior coaching or competitive playing experience at the secondary or middle school level. Strong communication and leadership skills with youth athletes.
