About the role

We are looking for a professional to join our team and work for our Belgian entity. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and GAAP, while supporting the financial operations and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management & Process Improvement

• Adapt to ongoing system changes and integrations, ensuring smooth financial operations as the company grows.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in financial workflows and assist in implementing enhanced accounting processes. Customer, Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating the audit process and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies and assist in information sharing.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Financial Oversight & Budget Management
• Ensure compliance on tax matters to fulfill local requirements, including tax return optimization.
• Manage complex accounts receivable processes, including analyzing collection patterns and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow. Data Analysis & Reporting
• Maintain and check financial data in the group's systems and support the elaboration of financial reporting.
• Audit financial information to ensure processes align with financial policies and regulatory standards.
