Essential Proven experience as a Wireman within substation, HV, power, or industrial environments. Strong understanding of control and protection wiring systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Experience carrying out cable termination, glanding, and installation activities. Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards. Relevant electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Previous experience working on National Grid, transmission, or substation projects. Bonus if you have National Grid Person or Competent Person authorisations.
