Job description

Job Title: STARLIMS Functional Consultant Joining: Immediate Job Summary We are seeking an experienced STARLIMS Functional Consultant to join our Corporate IT organization. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, design functional solutions, and support the implementation of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to meet global business needs Key Responsibilities Analyze business workflows and requirements and map them to STARLIMS product capabilities Design and document functional solutions aligned with business objectives Review and validate solutions with global stakeholders before translating into functional specifications and user stories Maintain deep knowledge of STARLIMS capabilities and promote optimal usage of standard features Support creation of RFPs, SOWs, and work packages for LIMS partners/vendors Collaborate with and manage external vendors/partners Influence product feature adoption, enhancements, or deferrals based on business priorities Ensure global consistency across business lines, regions, and laboratories Contribute to product roadmap, vision, and strategy Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or a related field Minimum 5+ years of experience in functional solution analysis within STARLIMS or LIMS projects Strong knowledge of LIMS solutions (such as Lab.

Vantage, G6, STARLIMS, or similar) and/or hands-on experience with laboratory business processes in industries like pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or comparable domains Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams Fluent in English (written and verbal) Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Knowledge of software development and project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP, PRINCE2) Experience working in global or distributed team environments Additional language skills are a plus Flexibility to travel occasionally Key Competencies STARLIMS functional expertise LIMS domain knowledge (pharma/lab processes) Solution design and documentation Vendor and stakeholder management Strategic and analytical thinking
