Teacher - TRT - Relief Teaching

The Opportunity Christ the King School is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Temporary Relief Teachers (TRTs) to join our relief teacher pool. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and faith-filled learning environment where student wellbeing, engagement and achievement are highly valued.

Key responsibilities include

Delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs in the absence of the classroom teacher. Creating a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment for all students. Implementing curriculum plans and maintaining continuity of learning. Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school expectations and policies.

Building positive relationships with students, staff and families. Undertaking administrative and duty responsibilities as required.

About You

Holds current teacher registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia. Demonstrates effective classroom management and organisational skills. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Is flexible, adaptable and able to respond positively to changing circumstances. Works collaboratively as part of a professional learning community.
