The ideal candidate will have prior experience maintaining and repairing a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment. This position requires strong diagnostic skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Conduct inspections and identify needed repairs. Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately. Maintain compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations.

Ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Must have previous fleet mechanic experience. Must possess the knowledge, skills, and training necessary to perform vehicle and equipment repairs. Must provide and maintain own hand tools required for the position. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Prior fleet maintenance and repair experience required. Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, braking systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Vocational training, technical school certification, or equivalent mechanical training preferred. Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. Valid driver's license required.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
