Job Title: Quality Analyst Trainee About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and confident Quality Analyst Trainee to join our team. Key Responsibilities

Understand business/functional requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases Perform manual testing of applications/websites/software to identify bugs and inconsistencies Log, track, and report defects clearly using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and verify fixes Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings Prepare and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, test reports) Perform regression testing to ensure new changes don't break existing functionality Continuously learn testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices Required Skills Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Knowledge of manual testing concepts (test case design, bug life cycle, types of testing) Familiarity with bug-tracking/test management tools (JIRA, Test.

Rail, or similar) is a plus Basic understanding of SQL for data validation Exposure to automation testing concepts (Selenium, or similar) is an added advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Soft Skills (Important) Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to clearly document and explain defects, test results, and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders High confidence in raising concerns, asking clarifying questions, and participating in team discussions Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset Good collaboration and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks Patience and persistence in finding and reporting issues Educational Qualification B.
