Position Overview

Soaring Eagle is seeking an experienced Desktop Utility Inspector T&D to review drone-collected imagery of electric utility distribution and transmission assets. This position is fully remote and supports utility inspection programs across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Review drone-collected RGB and infrared imagery of utility poles, lines, and related equipment. Identify and classify defects and assign severity ratings in accordance with customer and company standards. Annotate findings accurately in inspection software. Escalate safety-critical findings promptly to the Project Manager.

Meet production and quality targets within project deadlines. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of electric utility distribution or transmission experience. Prior desktop or imagery-based inspection experience. Ability to work independently. Reliable high-speed internet and a computer capable of running inspection Preferred Qualifications Experience as Journeyman Lineman or Qualified Electrical Worker Why Soaring Eagle?
