As we continue to grow, we are seeking multiple Construction Inspectors to join our Construction Administration Department at our Middleton/The Villages Headquarters location. We are open to candidates ranging from entry-level individuals looking to begin their career in construction inspection to experienced professionals ready to bring their knowledge and expertise to a growing team.

Job Description As a Construction Inspector at CFB, you will support quality assurance and compliance on a variety of civil engineering and land development projects.

This role involves field inspections, documentation, and collaboration with contractors, project managers, and internal project teams to help ensure construction is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Construction experience is preferred, but it is not required for the right candidate.

We are willing to train and develop individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in construction and civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and construction standards Review construction plans, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for accuracy and completeness Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports documenting construction progress and quality Monitor construction practices for subdivisions, roadways, commercial sites, and stormwater management systems Coordinate with contractors and project managers to identify and address compliance issues Assist with documentation and reporting related to project milestones and status updates Communicate observations and project updates with members of the Construction Administration and project teams Support the successful completion of projects by maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail Qualifications Construction inspection or related construction experience is preferred but not required Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply Knowledge of civil engineering, land development, and/or construction practices is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable, hardworking, and willing to work in a field-based environment Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with contractors, project managers, and internal teams Ability to learn, adapt, and contribute positively to a team environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why CFB?
