HVAC Technician

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the HVAC Technician performs skilled, journey-level duties in the inspection, servicing, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and system controls. Provides technical assistance to other maintenance personnel and responds to emergency plumbing situations as required.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent supplemented by additional training in at least one journey level area. Licenses/Certificates:
• Class C Driver's License is required
• EPA Universal Technician Certificate (Section 608) Comments and Other Information Experience:
• Three years of job-related experience as a journeyman-level air conditioning and heating technician, which included responsibility for a programmable energy management system with direct digital control and communication line for HVAC
