Job description
Performs timely service of all criminal and civil processes issued by the courts and enforces local, state and federal laws. This classification serves as a lead/senior level and/or oversees a special detail of a program within the constable's office and engages in investigatory duties with minimal supervision as required by the department.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS : This job is within the Non-TCSO POPS job family. It is a second level job within the uniformed Constable series. This job is distinguished from the Deputy Constable job by the additional experience and testing required to obtain this level.
