The Cluster Assistant Sales Manager – Leisure Sales will support leisure sales activities across Anantara Kalutara Resort, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, and Avani Kalutara Resort. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators and key leisure partners, supporting sales strategies and promotions, and contributing to the achievement of room-night, revenue, and occupancy targets across the cluster The Cluster Assistant Sales Manager – Leisure Sales will support the development and execution of leisure sales strategies across the assigned cluster of resorts.
The role will focus on driving leisure business, developing and maintaining strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate leisure partners, and other key accounts, while contributing to the achievement of revenue and occupancy targets. The position will actively support sales activities, client engagement, market development, promotional initiatives, and business generation for all three properties, ensuring consistent representation of the resorts within the leisure market.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing the cluster leisure sales strategy in line with the overall commercial objectives of the resorts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, destination management companies, wholesalers, and other leisure business partners. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and emerging leisure markets.
Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, site inspections, and business meetings. Promote the resorts’ accommodation, dining, spa, recreation, and other facilities to leisure partners and clients.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in hotel sales, preferably within the leisure segment. Strong knowledge of the hospitality and leisure travel industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
