Quality Control Associate

Quality Control Associate Location: Hempstead, TX 77445 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime may be required) Pay: $20.00+ per hour DOE (Depending on Experience) Join Our Team! VSSI Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in Hempstead, TX.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring products meet quality standards through inspections, measurements, testing, and documentation. If you have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Perform first article inspections and in-process quality inspections. Conduct equipment calibrations and maintain calibration records. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.

Complete quality documentation and data entry accurately. Assist with trimming and other production-related tasks as needed. Identify and report quality concerns to supervisors and production teams. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Previous Quality Control experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer and data entry skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. High school diploma or GED preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing and machine shop environment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
