Transmission Line Engineer

Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Lead Transmission Line Engineer to their Pittsburgh office!

Responsibilities

Oversee design reviews/validation procedures Ensure accuracy and safety of the design of high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD Establish quality standards aligned with industry best practices Develop/implement quality control procedures Mentor/train junior staff with varying levels of experience Communicate with project managers to align quality goals with schedule/budget Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or engineering technology 5+ years of power utility design Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Proficient in PLS CAD and AutoCAD Expert in the analysis of transmission structures Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations Valid Driver’s License is required Salary is commensurate with experience.
