Security Monitor (Part-Time) - Saturday/Sunday 12pm - 12am
Job description
Job Purpose The Security Monitor is responsible for assuring a safe environment at the facility during the evening and early morning hours.
Qualifications
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent Core Job Duties Monitor all individuals who enter the facility and ensure that they sign in and out. Monitor facility cameras, fire alarms, etc. to ensure all are working properly. Be fully trained to respond to crisis and emergency situations. Participate in staff meetings to discuss concerns regarding programs and person(s) served.
Serve as an appropriate role model for person(s) served. Demonstrate a working knowledge of diagnostic criteria sets for substance use and/or mental disorders. Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models. Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
Abide by program and agency policies and procedures. Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
