This leadership role oversees nursing operations, supervises clinical staff, and ensures high-quality resident care in our skilled nursing community. The ideal Registered Nurse will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of skilled nursing facility regulations, and a passion for resident-centered care. Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee nursing operations and ensure quality resident care at Wheat State Manor. Develop and monitor individualized care plans in compliance with federal and state regulations and Medicare requirements. Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development. Monitor clinical documentation, medical records, and HIPAA compliance.

Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Conduct audits and support quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health, safety, and well-being. Manage nursing department staffing and daily operations. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas. Previous nursing leadership or nursing administration experience required. Experience supervising nursing staff in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility. Knowledge of resident care planning, clinical documentation, and healthcare regulations.

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and Medicare requirements. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to quality care and resident well-being.
