RN- Case Manager (FT/Days)

• Oklahoma City, OK, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Weekday & Weekend Coverage, DEFINITION: The Case Manager is responsible for facilitating the patient’s hospitalization from admit through discharge. The Case Manager coordinates with physicians, nurses, social workers and the health care team to expedite medically appropriate, cost-effective care. The Case Manager applies clinical expertise and medical appropriateness criteria to resource utilization and discharge planning. The Case Manager will assume a leadership role within the health care team.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current Nursing license in the State of Oklahoma. Minimum of five years of hospital based clinical nursing experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Bachelor of Science of Nursing and/or Certified Case Manager. Utilization review and/or Case Management experience.
