Blade Recruitment is currently recruiting for Gardeners to work at a prestigious location near to Archway, London. Permanent positions offering between £24k-£27k pa + excellent benefits. Working 37.5hrs pw 5 days out of 7. JOB DUTIES Ensuring gardens are presented to the highest standard in the most efficient manner, maintenance and development of the garden and all garden water features. Planting and maintaining a wide variety of plants and shrubs. Watering and maintenance of glasshouse plants and extensive range of pots. Apply manures and mulches, clearing all garden debris and composting of garden waste. Carry out pruning work, using ladders, scaffolding and mechanical aids were appropriate. Maintain garden paths in a clean and safe condition – including pressure washing, weeding and sweeping. Application of algicides where appropriate. Using and the safe operation of all hand tools and machinery within the gardens. Ensuring that safe working practices and all health and safety regulations are carried out. JOB REQUIREMENTS Preferred applicants will hold RHS level 2 or equivalent in horticulture. Ability to work alone and to work under pressure and to be flexible in working and have good attention to detail. Aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the health and safety acts. Attend all training courses as and when required. Candidates will be extremely well presented and have good communication skills. JOB LOCATION The Gardener job is based near Archway, London.
