Path Administrator Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced Ui. Path Administrator to help shape and support our enterprise robotic process automation (RPA) capabilities across a complex SAP and federal technology landscape.
In this role, you will ensure the Ui. Path platform remains secure, scalable, high‑performing, and aligned with organizational automation goals. You’ll work closely with SAP functional teams, RPA developers, data engineers, cybersecurity, and infrastructure partners to deliver reliable and compliant automation solutions that drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
As a Ui. Path Administrator, you will: Administer and maintain the Ui. Path Orchestrator platform, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and environment support across development, test, and production. Manage user provisioning, access controls, authentication, and role-based permissions using secure folder structures and organizational policies.
Configure and support SSO/LDAP integrations and identity provider workflows to ensure secure and efficient user access. Oversee Ui. Path license management for Attended/Unattended Robots, Orchestrator, and Studio, including allocation and troubleshooting. Manage robot configurations, machine templates, credential stores, and connectivity across multi‑tenant environments.
Monitor platform health, including performance, logs, utilization, and job failures; diagnose incidents and coordinate resolution. Support integrations with SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP Success. Factors) and other API/cloud data sources. Maintain connectors, service accounts, credentials, and SAP-related access mechanisms to ensure stable and secure automation execution.
Develop and enforce governance standards for automation lifecycle management, naming conventions, documentation, security, and version control. Partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to meet security, audit, backup, recovery, and continuity requirements. Support the migration of automation assets and packages across environments.
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for automation incidents and coordinate with Ui. Path and SAP Support when necessary. Offer end-user training and support for automation publishing, scheduling, execution, and best practices. Collaborate with Agile delivery teams, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, release activities, and platform improvement initiatives.
Analyze automation performance issues and recommend enhancements for scalability, reliability, monitoring, and orchestration. Support data quality, auditability, and compliance for automated workflows and intelligent automation solutions.
Qualifications
Required: Active U.S. DoD Secret. Ability to meet DoD 8140 requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in application administration, RPA platform support, or intelligent automation system administration.
Hands-on experience administering Ui. Path Orchestrator and supporting Ui. Path Studio users in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of:
- Ui. Path Orchestrator configuration and maintenance
- User/security administration
- Robot scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Performance and job execution issue resolution Working knowledge of SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP BTP) and SAP‑integrated automation. Experience supporting integrations with SAP data sources and enterprise automation workflows. Familiarity with authentication tools such as Okta, Active Directory, and SSO/LDAP. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Understanding of federal IT security standards and the ability to work in classified or controlled environments. Desired: Experience in DoD, federal, or highly regulated environments. Ui. Path certifications (e.g., Ui. Path Orchestrator Specialist, Ui. Path Automation Developer). Experience with Ui. Path Integration Service for SAP, including SAP GUI automation, SAP Fiori automation, and SAP BAPI/RFC integration. Experience implementing Okta SSO with Ui. Path Orchestrator. Background supporting RPA automation in finance, supply chain, logistics, transportation, or SAP ERP environments. Familiarity with cloud or hybrid Ui. Path deployments, including Ui. Path Automation Cloud. Experience with monitoring and ticketing platforms (Service. Now, Splunk, etc.). Exposure to Agile methodologies such as SAFe. Experience using Ui. Path Insights for analytics, robot utilization, and automation ROI reporting.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
